Application for International Internship Scholarships (Inbound) for the Academic Year 2025


Application Details

Prince of Songkla University (PSU) is dedicated to promoting experiential learning and fostering international learning networks. Therefore, the university offers scholarships to international students for internships at PSU, aiming to encourage and motivate students from various universities to participate in internships during the 2025 academic year.

Qualifications of Scholarship Recipients:

1) As a student from an international university currently enrolled in any field of study at the undergraduate or graduate level
2) Have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 up to the final semester before the application deadline, based on a 4.0 grading system (A=4.00, B+=3.50, B=3.00, C+=2.50, C=2.00, D=1.50, D=1.00, E=0). If the grading system differs from PSU’s grading system, a document providing a comparison or explanation of the grading scale must be submitted for consideration.
3) Demonstrate good English communication skills. Non-native English speakers must provide English proficiency test scores with the following criteria (the test results must be no older than 2 years from the application date).
4) Have excellent physical and mental health, with no conditions that could impede the ability to perform work-related tasks.
5) Provide a confirmation letter from the home university.
6) Provide an internship topic and a confirmation letter from the relevant faculty or department at Prince of Songkla University.

Scholarship Conditions:

1) Scholarship recipients must complete their internship at Prince of Songkla University or at an organization arranged by the relevant faculty/department at PSU for a minimum of six weeks.

2) If a recipient is unable to participate for the entire duration specified in 3.1, they must return the full amount of the scholarship funds. In cases of force majeure, such as sudden illness, natural disasters, accidents, political unrest, or pandemics, the host faculty/department must submit a formal explanation of the circumstances to the Education and Innovative Learning Academy (EILA). The university will evaluate the situation and determine whether to reclaim the funds, as appropriate.

3) Recipients must submit a Student’s Internship Report to the Education and Innovative Learning Academy (EILA) within 30 days after completing the internship.
